The information are too random, I don't know where to start reading. When I saw the big "4" on the upper right side, I thought it is the number where we should start reading and I started searching for "1" but later I found out that it was not like that.
For the movement of the chess piece, I think you need to clarify more, example:
king move diagonally and straight, but you didn't state "moves by 1 step only"
same to queen, you said move freely. What is meant by freely? So you have to edit the words I think.
The symbols and points, I don't understand what it is for, is it used for tournament/some competition? or just for recording movement of a game? you didn't state that.
I think the words could be simplified and you need to guide the audience where to start reading, and which information is more important (eg, put in bold, or increase the size), which are the detailed info (eg, smaller words).

It definitely looks attractive. But after looking at it for a while, I realised I don't know where to start reading from. It makes me feel a little inferior to learn chess. Maybe numbered steps would help.

- Yes, it has all the information we need to start moving the chess pieces,and you even included the basic 4 steps checkmate. I think its all pretty well covered.

I would probably be introducing the layout into few sections using boxes. Cause there's too many info, and when I first look at it, i just dunno where to start. Probably distributing it into boxes of different categories. So I can look at things section by sections.

-> I get the parts, as in basics of bits and pieces of what is expected to be done and all, but I don't think that a fresh beginner would be able to process all these information and to put it into practical practice. Probably make a flow chart? To link all these pieces and hence, produces a better understanding level for the beginners.

I think I can. But then, I will have to spend time and effort on it. For such impatient people like me, I doubt I will try to learn it when I see this on the first sight. It's not convincing enough for the starter.

At first look, I am attracted by the graphic. The colours chosen look pretty interesting and classic.

I think the whole thing is too compacted. Should play with more space.. Now that things are so close to each other, like no air to breathe. So, perhaps, have to find solution in making the spaces look more comfortable.

5. The flow was random. It didnt guide me where to start reading. It would be prefect to redesign the positions. And tis information, are they for websites/notice boards/leaflets? And I prefer more colours too >.<
BTW, ur design improved a LOT from ur 1st designs way back. Well done and congrats. I may not know much bout designing, but I'm impressed with ur designs now. Cant wait for more surprises.
